The partnership with the ASL BiSL Foundation was the main reason why the HAN University of Applied Sciences University of Arnhem and Nijmegen is nominated as ‘IT trainer of the year’. The HAN has joined the ASL BiSL Foundation as Educational Knowledge Partner earlier this year. From the campuses in Arnhem and Nijmegen the HAN delivers more than 80 bachelor’s and master’s programmes for about 31,000 students.
This themesession in The Netherlands was about IT rationalization and how to reach the goal of less complexity in order to gain agility. Two cases have been presented after which attendees shared knowledge and experiences in round tables focussed on specific subjects related to this topic . In 2014, the Foundation celebrated it’s 12.5 year anniversary. For this occasion a book has been published, describing 10 award winning case studies for ASL and BiSL implementations, to stimulate international awareness.
The joint annual congress ‘Co-create’ has experienced its second edition in December 2014 in Bussum, The Netherlands. With 500 participants, 60 speakers, 20 sponsors and a report rating of 7.2, this has been a successful event. For the 2015 edition on December 10th, once again the following organizations are cooperating: ASL BiSL Foundation, Agile Consortium, BPM Forum, Business Rules Platform, itSMF NL, KIVI, Dutch Computer Society (Ngi-NGN) and Platform for Information Security (PvIB).
After three years it was time for a new ‘ look and feel ‘. From the little bridge in the fog to other famous bridges in The Netherlands. The basic pages about ASL and BiSL are now available in nine languages, thanks to our ASL and BiSL Ambassadors. One of them has visualized our history in a timeline.
During the annual conference ‘Co-create 2014′ on December 11, 2014, Machteld Meijer received the prestigious ASL BiSL Foundation Trophy 2014. Last year, the prize went to Maarten Looijen.
