ASL® and BiSL® Foundation exam

For application managers, information managers, business information managers and other officials in the fields of application management and business information management the following exams are available: the ASL Foundation exam and the BiSL Foundation exam. These exams provide an internationally recognized ASL and BiSL certificate.

BiSL® Advanced exam

For business information managers and consultants who hold a BiSL Foundation certificate, an advanced qualification is available from 15 February 2016 onwards: the BiSL Advanced exam.

The ASL BiSL Foundation monitors the quality of the foundation and advanced exams through regular checks by experts from the ASL BiSL Foundation.

Accredited training organizations

Training in ASL and BiSL is provided by accredited training organizations, who also run the exams. APMG provides accreditation of these training organizations on behalf of the ASL BiSL Foundation. In this way, the ASL BiSL Foundation monitors the quality of the training organizations. See here for more information on accredited ASL trainers and BiSL trainers.

      Hi Nana,
Thanks for your question. If you are sitting the examination through an accredited training organization, the cost of the exam is generally included in the course fee. Recently, an online ASL 2 Foundation training course is launched, including online exam, delivered by Capgemini Academy. If you prefer sitting for your exam after self study, you can choose for a public exam but this is not available in every country. Costs are something like 170 USD ex VAT. For more information, please contact the APMG-International service desk on +44 (0)1494 452450 or at servicedesk@apmg-international.com.
      Good luck!
      Kind regards,
      Lucille

      Beste Tanja,

      Groet,
      Lucille
